Good bye Flagstaff! (Tully sure is happy!). Road Hog so much wanted to jump with the kids on this thing, but he wouldn't do it. This was for the campers in Flagstaff so Road Hog was allowed. It looked fun, and the kids were having a blast.
What a nice drive today! We woke up to 30 degrees, and drove into Leisure Valley RV Resort at 85 degrees, and no rain! (Sorry Washingtonians!). The freeway heading out of Flagstaff was horrible! It seems as if the roads haven't been worked on in years. So bumpy!
Nothing but blue sky and some easy driving. We really didn't have a problem with traffic until we got closer to Phoenix.
Gone are the ponderosa pines and hello to the suguaro cactus. Oh, and blue blue sky!
We got into town, and got all checked in. Unloaded the animals, who by the way, did so good on the trip. Tully is back to normal. She was pretty subdued last night, but after chasing a crow this morning, I knew she was A-OK!
There are grapefruit trees, orange trees and lemon trees growing in the dog park.
Here is our set up. The site is level, and once more the sky is blue....oh, and hello palm trees!
