Grand Canyon ! North Rim !

 

Today was the day!  All three of us hit the road to go visit the north rim of the Grand Canyon.  It was a beautiful day for a drive.

We passed a couple of places before the park of where the wild fires went through.  Thousands of acres burned.  It looked like it happened at different times.

Tully wanted her photo taken by the sign.  Not very many people were about.  I think this place, along with all the cabins to rent out, was closed for the season.

The views were amazing!

Grand Canyon is huge!

Even though this was only the north rim, I couldn't comprehend the whole canyon.  The space, the rock, the colors were all unbelievable!

At some point in our travels this year, I had heard that the north rim was really nothing compared to the south rim.  And if you had a choice, select the south rim.  How could someone say that the north rim was nothing?

If I never visit the south rim, that is okay because the north rim was all that and more.

Now, a little bit of history here....Road Hog, Tully and I ran into something in the middle of the forest going up to the Grand Canyon.  It was pretty new to Tully, and Road Hog and I haven't seen one of these in years and years.  We didn't even know that they still existed, but they do!  We ran and ran until we caught up to it and low and behold....WOW!!!!!!!

When was the last time you saw one of these?  First the north rim, and now one of these!  What a day!!!  😂😂
