Can you believe that it was our 6 month anniversary yesterday, for being on the road for 6 months? This trip so far, has been amazing! 6 months living in our house with wheels! 6 months visiting 7 states! How many miles? How many people have we met? How many pups has Tully met?
We woke up to 21 degrees! A bit frosty out there this morning!
Right down the road from us is a park. It is a huge park, and has lots of pecan trees.
We walked over to part of the park and here is a photo of the camp where we are parked.
This was yesterdays sunrise, right over the bayou, and all of the squirrels.
The squirrels are so busy gathering all of the pecans. The grounds are loaded with them.
We took a drive yesterday and found the old jail. Brownwood is a huge town! Lots of old houses. The town was incorporated in 1884. I bet there are some great antiques in this town!
We are here until Tuesday morning. Then we are traveling to Caldwell, Tx which is 179 miles from here. Almost a 3 hour drive. We will stay there for 4 days, then on to Camp Jason for the winter!
