Well, we did it!  We are on the road, in our house!  I'm sure everyone is just as excited as we are!  😊

How tough can it be to sell practically everything you own, including cars, trucks, house, acreage and ....?  When you have years and years of stuff that has accumulated, what does one do?  Guess what?!  it is so freeing to be free! 😀

Our dream of retirement was to own a farm, acreage, tractor, and lots of animals.  And this was our life for the past 13 years.  But then we got to a point of 'whats next'?  Was this it?  Was Denis going to be farm man the rest of his life?  Hey!  What about if he became Chauffeur man?  Big Rig Truck driver?  Operator?  Lead Foot?  Road Hog.....Yup....that is it!  Farm man is now Road Hog!!  😂

This was our farm house.  We had 10 acres, shop, barn, garden, a couple of coops, and on and on.  We went from that to this:

We now live in a 35 foot fifth wheel, a Grand Design Solitude.  And because this is now our house, we have DISH satellite, a washer and dryer, our own wireless router, (because who can live without TV and internet?) two cats, one dog, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Our first camping experience was at March Point, Anacortes.  We spent 3 months there visiting lots of family and friends.

And it was all possible because of my sister and brother in law, Cindy and Dave.  (Thanks again you guys!  We had a blast and already we miss you!)

So much has happened since June 11th, 2021.  We have been on the road that long!  We are missing our friends in SW Washington, we are missing our family and friends in NW Washington, and Portland, OR.  We are planning on visiting everyone next spring....

I'm sure everyone wants to know what is it like traveling with our animals.  Lucy and Ethel are sisters and 12 years old.  Tully, our little 7 year old chihuahua is why I started blogging again.  She is our little traveling pup and she loves riding and exploring.  So far, we have had only one incident with the cats.  Ethel got out one night, and we think Lucy pushed her out the window.  We finally caught her and got her back inside, and here is where they both reside.  Even though they are sisters, they aren't best friends.  Lucy has her area and Ethel has hers.  And by the looks of Ethel, her area is by the food....

We are currently in Redmond, Oregon.  It is so beautiful here!  We are staying at the expo center and no complaints!  Lots of room, and dog friendly.  And being dog friendly is the number one thing we look for in a camp ground!

How can anyone refuse this little face?  😍.

What next?  Where are we going?  We have spent a week in Bothell, WA at a very nice park called Pleasant Lake.  From there, we traveled to Chehalis, WA to Riverside Park. (Hi Trish!)  This was also a nice park, and not as big. Even though we have been full timers for a very short time, we have met so many people and so many friends!  Is this the life or what?

We leave here on Tuesday, and we will travel to Burns, OR for a couple of days.  Then on to Mountain Home Idaho!
