We took off this morning about 9.  We had thunderstorms last night and the temp dropped down to the low 60’s!  Hallelujah!!  Then the rains came!  When we packed up this morning, the rains had stopped but a coat was in order!  Look at the gray clouds.  I haven’t seen these in forever!  It was actually a nice day for driving.  And for…

Napping!  Tully was nice and warm in her little bed.

Most of these highways have off freeway parking.  It comes in handy when one needs to stop to use the facilities in our home on wheels.  So much better than pulling in a rest area.  They are usually two lanes wide and one just pulls over, then when finished, you just pull out in the on ramp to join the highway again.  How simple!

The scenery was so pretty.  And yes, part of the drive was wet.  It washed all the dust and dirt off our home.

The Vore Buffalo Jump is closed for the season.  Thank goodness. Just reading about it made me sad.  Look it up if you want but the name should give you a clue about what it is.

Hello South Dakota!  

We are staying at Rush No More RV park.  Beautiful!!  They’re having an old car/truck show this weekend that we didn’t know about.  But we are off exploring tomorrow morning.

As soon as the slides were out, I let the cats out of their carriers and Ethel Louise found the box first.  She is just sitting there until her food started calling her name. If you notice, it was chilly enough to turn the fireplace on.  It certainly warms this place up!

Then Lucy Lu found the box and had to sit in it for a while. Silly cats.

Tully didn’t have a box but I bet she wouldn’t have minded a stool. It is so tough to look out the window when one is so short.
