We got moving this morning around 10 am and landed in the big town of Reed Point about 2 pm. 91 degrees! Too hot for me but it wasn’t long to get set up and all the airs going. I say Reed Point is a big town because it is bigger than Lebam. 193 people.
Yep, here is the big town. We had to get off the freeway about 6 miles back and come in on the frontage road because the over pass here in town is pretty low and we would have knocked everything off the top of our home if we went under it. And yes, we have to go back out the same way, back tracking, to get on the freeway. This is all due to Road Hog’s investigation when he plans the route. I hate to think that some traveler’s don’t investigate the route as throughly and end up losing their air conditioners and other things off the top of their trailers.
And can you believe our luck? This is a holiday weekend! We have a parade, and a sheep drive on Sunday! I wonder if the sheep drive is anything like running of the bulls that takes place in Spain? Eww! I don’t want to see any blood when these sheep run! Yes, I’ll take lots of photos! How lucky are we?
