99 Degrees And Holding

 

99 degrees. Can it be any hotter?!  Sure, it’s pretty here and all, the grass is green, and there are some nice shade trees, but come on! Who can enjoy any of it when it is so damn hot?! Give me air conditioning or give me death! (Didn’t someone famous say that?). 😂

We were worried that the lawn guys might mow over our star link cord and we had an extra tube holder? Hose holder? Either way, we are using it for the cord.  So far it seems to work…the lawn guys haven’t been around.  Maybe that hose holder (or whatever that thing is) scared the workers away? 😂

Tully loves the grass that is around here, but I don’t let her walk on any gravel or cement in the heat of the day.  Just too hot for her little feet.  And we can’t stay out too long for our walky walks…it gets kind of hard to breathe in such a hot oven. 🔥

And because it was so hot outside, why not barbecue?  Chicken and a salad was on the menu.  

We will be on our way tomorrow. Just over a 3 hour drive.  Wolf Lodge in Couer d’Alene Idaho.  Hopefully it will be a bit cooler.  Oh please let it be a bit cooler!!
