Here is our sunrise on Saturday morning. I think it is called calm before the storm.
The over pass has some great creative fences.
We are surrounded by snowy mountains. And yet our weather has been in the mid 60’s.
Guess who found a buddy? This goat lives here at the park and the owner is trying to find a girlfriend for him. The problem is that all the girl goats are so much bigger than he is. He is a lonely goat and if you know of a female goat looking for a partner, please let me know. (Note: I’m talking about the real goat and not Road Hog!)
This is Jake. He is the owners dog. She whispered to me that Jake is 17 years old, and I asked her why she was whispering she said that she didn’t want Jake to hear. She told me that pugs don’t normally live to be 17 and if Jake doesn’t know how old he is, then he would just keep living.
Here is Saturday’s sunset. Another calm before the storm.
Here is the sunrise on Sunday morning, the day the storm came through. We had high winds which we felt because it was coming on the drivers side of the trailer. We were beaten with rain, ice and snow, and even had snow built up on some windows. Since it was 44 degrees, the snow didn’t stick around for long. But man, that wind was bad! We woke up this morning to 29 degrees, but it didn’t take long to reach 60.
Ethel Louise found a sunny window.
We are on our way to Casa Grande on Wednesday morning. We will be there for 2 weeks to visit our son Michael and his fiancée Sid.
After 2 weeks, we will move to Quartzsite, AZ for about 5 days, then on to Laughlin, Nevada. Slowly heading up north. Hopefully it will be spring!
