When we arrived in Odessa, some guys were pulling a trailer selling food. All kinds of food. They came with good references, including the people who was running the park. We picked out a boneless whole chicken, stuffed with crawfish etouffee. It was vacuumed sealed, and frozen. We stuck it in our freezer for later.
Well, yesterday was later. The only bad thing about this meal? We only bought one! It was so good! Weird but good! We had half of it left, so we sealed it up and put it in the freezer for another day. Some of the things they had, I wouldn’t even think about buying….like alligator and crap like that. But this chicken, with a little kick, was pretty tasty. And different.
Ethel Louise and Tully are sharing the chair. You can see Tully’s little face…I had to open it up a bit so she wouldn’t be suffocated by Ethel.
Tomorrow it is on to Pipe Creek. We have a three hour trip, but it is supposed to be a nice day. More to come!
