What A Week So Far!!

Well, here we are finally packing up the old and moving in the new.  What a mess that was!  It was as bad as moving out of the farmhouse!  (Kind of!). It took most of Thursday to do the move, hook up and travel back to Chehalis.  I don't think I ever want to move again!  😅. We were able to park the old trailer next to the new one and just go back and forth.

Here is Tully getting used to the new home.

Road Hog backs it up pretty good!  The Chehalis Golf and RV park is not all that big.  What happens when we get parked and set up?

Ethel Louise squeezes her body next to the bed and wall.  Now, in the other trailer she had no problem hiding in this spot.  But this trailer is different.  (Do you see her white little foot in the dark area above?)  She has the width room, and the length room, but not the height room.  She squeezed herself so far up there, that she absolutely could not back up and get out.  We spent about 5 hours getting that poor little kitty out of there.  She was so thankful!  And yes, I have those area's blocked.  Poor Ethel Louise.  And yes, she is still carrying a little holiday weight.  Aren't we all?

We were already late in our schedule on moving north.  As much as we enjoy the park in Chehalis, the hosts of the park make it very worth while!  Thanks to Trish and Tommy for everything!  Keep in touch and hopefully we will see you again this fall!  (My sister from another mister, and mother!  😂).

We left Saturday and the above photo shows you why we try not to travel on weekends.  Here we are in Tacoma.  We are on our way to Lake Pleasant in Bothell.  A place that we are familiar with since we stayed here some time last year.

After our back in park job, here is our view.  We have the lake right behind us, the geese, the ducks and all the poop you want.

We have been spending most of our time unpacking.  Why do we have so much stuff?  Besides unpacking, we are finding that not everything is working like it should.  The washing machine leaks, the wifi isn't working, and the satellite does not work.  We have calls in to Vanleigh. The dealership told us to get someone out here that makes house calls for RV repairs, but a lot of them are so busy!  We can only keep on trying!

We were also able to go see one of our grandsons play flag football!  What a great game!  Go Wes!

Other than the problems that we are having, the new RV is awesome.  We have lots of room, a huge bed, a huge bathroom, and the list goes on and on.  More photos and updates coming soon.

We saw this little guy on one of our walks.  I love rabbits.  Their little noses are always twitching.
