New Home? Not New Home?

Well, this was supposed to be the last hook up for the solitude.  We hooked up and traveled to Woodland to exchange homes.

Here we are, parked in the parking lot of the RV place. Since it will be awhile before they get to us, and because we have solar in the solitude, we brought out the slides, turned on the satellite and tv, let the cats relax in the bedroom with the air conditioner on.

Finally, we took a tour of our new home. Road Hog turned the water pump on and water starting pouring out the storage area in the back. It was coming from the fridge in the kitchen. The techs moved the fridge out and replaced a part. No more leaks!

This is the area where it was leaking. The blue pipe runs up to the fridge in the kitchen.

Another problem we found is we added solar to our RV. With our solitude, if we are connected to shore power and for some reason the park lost power, our trailer would automatically switch to solar. With our new home, for some reason the solar was only connected to the fridge. So, if we’re connected to shore power and the park lost power, we wouldn’t have lights or tv but hey, we would have some cold food!! 😂

So, we returned to Chehalis with our old home. The new home is being worked on as I write and hopefully it will be done today or tomorrow. I’m just glad that we found these problems before hitting the road. The financial guy wanted us to do the paperwork while we were there and I told him absolutely not. When my new home is up to our satisfaction, then you will get my money. So, our pick up day has been pushed yet again, but we are retired, and can wait. And wait….and so will you. 😂😎
